Corporate VJ + new bew music

Had a pleasant suprise last Friday. Recieved a text message from Deja at lunch time asking if I would like to help produce visuals at club Fleda. Once I was finished at the staff dinner I was there.

Quite an impressive set-up in comparison to what we used last time (where we had one projector and two laptops) this time there were three live cameras, two DVD players, four monitors, three mixers, two synched projectors making a large widescreen image (a few other video projectors in other rooms too) two large plasma screens onstage and our laptops to feed into this pro set-up.

Goodtimes.

This was all sponsored by T-Mobile. It was one of their electronic beats nights (their first Czech tour). I was happy to be involved having been happy with the content of their magazine and DVD (slices). If you're not familiar with the electronic beats publications, they are modern slick and full to the brim with cutting-edge artists, designers, writers, and audio-visual producers. In a way it's painfully hip, but that's only if you want to be a cynical git.

Anyway. The team were cool to work with. i would like to work with them again in the future.
The show itself was tops. Great live acts, DJs and MCs.

8:30pm DJ Jan2
10:15pm Ohm Square
11:15pm DJ Jan2
11:30pm N.O.H.A.

I finished a bew tune I started whislt giving my friend Adam a computer music tutorial. If you want to hear it a 192kbps mp3 file is available for a limited period.

In other news, I've been working on a series of new tunes, geared towards the faster, noiser end of the sound spectrum that I usually play in.
These will hopefully be ready to be played in public for the summer shows.
